Want to learn some skills to make you sizzle in the kitchen?

The term two course listings for St George and Sutherland Community College are out and include some dynamic-sounding classes.

On offer are hands-on classes for ancient Persian and modern Iranian cuisine, Korean and Japanese, tapas, and artistic and rustic bread making.

The course that jumped out at The Hungry Mum, who has a passion for all things cheese-related, is a one-day cheese making workshop that promises to teach you how to make your very own camembert, fetta, mascarpone and yoghurt.

There’s even a class on classic brunch dishes, where students will learn how to make modern classics such as corn fritters with smoked salmon, and French toast.

The college offers a a plethora of cake decorating courses including a mother-and-daughter cupcake decorating class.

Students enrolling in all classes before April 13 have a chance to win one of 10 free courses.
