Why is St George and Sutherland Shire the best place in the world to live?
Nanjing Night Net

It is a paradise all on its own, with beautiful beaches to explore, many nice places to relax, and interesting people.

How has the region changed in your lifetime?

The updates at Wanda have just been fantastic for children and fitness people.

What would you like to see more of?

The Esplanade walk extended once the Greenhills estate comes in, new bike tracks, ice-skating rinks and gold-class cinemas.

Do you have a favourite spot you like to visit or a favourite local restaurant, cafe or shop?

SeaLevel is my favourite restaurant and I am a regular at Sushi Train. If I’m out, Northies is the place. I like the Tea House Gardens and a small spot near Darook Park.

What do you enjoy reading in your Leader?

The events happening for everyone to participate in and the local talents or achievements. They inspire me to be better.

Has any particular story stuck in your memory?

I had a friend who died and this story stuck in my mind and the stories on blood donations which encourage me to donate as we really can save lives if we can.

What are you looking forward to this year?

Living a better life with self-improvement, new adventures and achievements, and I will be completing my fitness courses and working at more shire venues, encouraging people to be fit and healthy.

What is one thing you wish you were better at?

I am always looking for ways to be better in everything I do. I’m determined to be better in every way and strive for love, happiness and health.

What is the best part of your role?

I love showing people that if you visualise something and want it wholeheartedly you can achieve it. I love inspiring people to live more and be better in every way.

If you could time travel, where would you go?

Into the future to see if I am heading in the right direction. I want to know if I’m walking the right path.
